The football dream starts young, but for our five year old Louie, it just got a little closer to reality! We are absolutely delighted to share the incredible news that Louie has been invited to join the LFC Foundation Player Development Programme (PDP).
The First Steps: The Pre-Academy Phase
Louie will be entering the earliest stage of the LFC Foundation's structured pathway which caters to children from the age of four, focusing on the fundamental building blocks of both football and life skills.
The early phase of the PDP is not about high-pressure drills, it’s about nurturing a love for the ball in a positive, fun, and engaging environment with the focus being on;

Motor Skills Development: Improving coordination, balance, agility, and speed.

Fundamental Ball Mastery: Learning the very basics of control, passing, and dribbling through games.
