We visited Little India at The Ring O Bells for the first time with friends this week and we were all very impressed by the quality of the food and the fantastic service. The restaurant is located in a cosy traditional pub on a cobbled street, which gives it a charming atmosphere. The menu offers a great variety or traditional curries and modern dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic spices.
We ordered the mixed kebab to start which offers a variety of starters, chicken tikka, lamb kebab and onion bhaji and salad. The meat was so tender and everything tasted freshly cooked it was a perfect combination. After much deliberation I chose the butter chicken which is strips of chicken tikka cooked in a creamy buttery sauce, it was absolutely delicious and honestly the tastiest Indian dish I have ever eaten.
Mark ordered the tandoori mixed grill with a vindaloo sauce. It came out on a sizzler plate, the aroma instantly filled the table the meat was so tender and delicious. We shared special rice, spicy chips and a garlic naan which were the perfect accompaniments to our meal.
All of the portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and attentive and they made sure we had everything we needed. We had a lovely evening and we will definitely be back soon. Little India at The Ring O Bells is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed setting, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of India in Warrington.
