Grand Canyon West 2026 Guide: How to Get "Kids Free" Tickets & Maximize Your All-Access Pass

Published on 31 October 2025 at 17:13

Planning a family trip to the Grand Canyon this winter or early spring?  Well we have some great news for families.  From November 1st through March 1st, the Grand Canyon West is running their best family promotion yet: the "Kids Free" Special.

Here is everything you need to know about scoring free tickets.

The "Kids Go Free" Promotion: Dates & Details

For a limited time, families can significantly cut the cost of their bucket list adventure.  This promotion is designed for the off peak season, making it the perfect winter break or early spring adventure.

  • Offer Available: November 1st – March 1st.
  • The Deal: Up to two children (ages 5-12) enter FREE with the purchase of one full-price Adult All-Access Pass.
  • Toddlers: As always, children under age 4 are free and do not count toward your two-child limit.
  • The Catch: This offer is not available online. You must redeem this promotion on-site at the Grand Canyon West Main Terminal.

Family Math Example: A family of four (two adults, three kids aged 5, 7 and 10) would only pay for two Adult All-Access Passes costing $198. That’s a savings of nearly $300!

3 Tips for Redeeming the "Kids Go Free" Offer

Since you have to buy these tickets in person, follow these tips to ensure a smooth morning:

Arrive Early: The Main Terminal opens at 9:00 AM.  Arriving by 8:30 AM ensures you beat the tour buses coming from Las Vegas and get through the ticketing line quickly.

Bring ID: While not always asked for, having a digital copy of your kids' passports or birth certificates can help if there’s a question about the age cut off (5-12).

Bundle Your Credits: Since the $10 meal/merch credits require a $20 minimum spend, plan to buy lunch for the whole family at once to maximize the vouchers.

Ready to plan your trip?

Grand Canyon West is the only place where you can walk on a glass bridge over the canyon, zip through the air, and explore tribal history all in one afternoon. Check out everything that's included in the All-Access Pass in our recent blog.
